I'm using a button created in Flash 6 on a Windows XP platform to launch an external application using the command fscommand("exec","appname.exe").

This works fine if I create a Flash projector using Flash itself; but of course I then get the Windows box.

When I create the projector using the Iceprojector application, everything else works and I get a beautiful windowless button - but the application no longer loads when the button is pressed, i.e. the fscommand "exec" is not doing what it's supposed to do.

Can anyone tell me how to solve this?
