Single
Task Mode
STEP1.
Click on File->Open to open the swf file in file folders.
STEP2.
You may resize the Flash movie by the following:
- Drag on
the program window's bolder line.
- Click on
Options->Dimension to open the dimension dialog box
and specify the width and height in pixels. You may check on the
"Use original doc size" to restore the Flash movie rectangle.
- Click on
Options->Keep Aspect Ratio to switch if you want the
movie width/height aspect ratio to be fixed during resizing.
STEP3.
Control the Flash movie playback and Seek Controller:
- The Flash
movie is paused at first. You may start it by clicking on Control->Play.
- To stop
the movie playback, click on Control->Stop.
- To rewind
the movie to the beginning, click on Control->Rewind.
- To open or
close the Seek Controller, click on Control -> Seek

STEP4.
Seek Controller How-to: (Pro only)
The
Seek Controller helps to browse into flash movie's frames
easily by dragging the slider bar or entering the frame number in
the Current Frame field. It is a very handy tool to help
you quickly and easily locate the frame number range in the Flash
movie to convert.
- Sequence
- Normal:
Follow the Flash movie's playback sequence including movie
clips and action scripts.
- Frame
by Frame: Follow the frame sequences in main timeline.
- Skip
backward frame: Just like Frame by Frame mode,
but If the flash movie contain loop in the main timeline by
using action scripts such as "goto and play 0",
this option will break the loop by ignoring the action script.
- Current
Frame and End Frame fields: The default value of Current
Frame field is 0. The default value of End Frame field
is the total frame number in main timeline.
- You may extend
the movie's playback range by enlarge the End Frame number.
(Especially useful in Normal mode Sequence)
- To go to
a specific frame, just input the frame number in the Current
Frame field and then click Enter. (Make sure the End frame
is bigger than the frame you input)
- The slider
allows you to randomly jump to any frame between the first frame
(0) and the End Frame number.
- The control
buttons can be used to control the movie more precisely.
STEP
5.1 Convert to Video file:
- Click on
File->Create to AVI to specify the output file name
(AVI format).
- In the "AVI
Export Setting" windows, you may specify the following
information for the conversion.

Sequence -- Determine the created frame sequence.
- Skip
"goto backward frame" in main timeline: If the
flash movie contain loop in the main timeline by using action
scripts such as "goto and play 0", this option will
break the loop by ignoring the action script.
- Frame
by frame in main timeline: Convert in the sequence of
the main timeline.
- Normal:
Convert with Flash movie's normal playback sequence including
movie clips and action scripts.
2.2
Duration -- Specify the created frame length.
- Start
Frame: Default is 0.
- End
Frame: Default is the Flash movie's last frame number
in main timeline. You may specify the "Start Frame"
and "End Frame" to partially convert
the movie. Or you may enlarge the "End Frame"
to convert the whole movie in his normal sequence.
2.3
Video -- choose desired video format setting.
- Compressor:
Press "Select" button to specify the codec
setting for conversion.
- Compression
Codec program: Click combo box to select the suitable
codec installed in your system. You have to pre-install
the needed codec program in your system.
- Compression
Quality: Select from 0 to 100 for the compression
quality.
- Key
Frame Interval: Specify the frame number of the converted
video's adjacent key frames.
- Data
rate: Specify the data rate of the converted video.

You may click on the Format button for advance
setting of the codec program.
- Frame
Rate: Default is the original setting of the flash movie
(If you modify the value, the output video will be faster
or slower than the original Flash movie).
Note: if you choose "Record from current SWF
file" in "Audio" setting, the frame rate will
be always same as the original flash movie and cannot be changed.
- Color
Depth: Select whether to convert 32 bits RGB Alpha channel
video or not:
- 24
bits RGB format.
- 32
bits RGB with Alpha:

Audio -- choose the audio source to create.
- None: No
audio.
- Record
from current SWF file: Audio is recorded from current
SWF file in phase one processing and then merge into video
in phase two.
- Format:
Press "Select" button to choose the audio
format attributes. Currently only support PCM format.
- Recording
volume: Adjust the volume level of waveform recording
device. Your sound card must support waveform audio recording
capability and make sure you had selected it for recording
audio. Press "Advance" button to
adjust detailed recording control setting.
- From
WAVE file: Using external wave file to create audio, press
"Browse" button to choose the wave file.
The audio data of this wave file will be merged with video
data and the audio of original SWF file will be ignored.
2.5 Specify
the file size up limit in the Slip file when exceeding
text field.(Pro
only)
2.6 Check
Play after creating checkbox to open the output
AVI with external media player when complete.
- Press "OK"
to create AVI file, the progress bar will pop up. If you choose
to "Record from current SWF file" then program
will perform two phase creating. The first phase create audio
and the second phase create video. It would be better to close
all other running programs to obtain the best performance and
audio recording quality. If you choose "None"
or "From WAVE file", only one phase creating
is needed. You may press "Finish" button of the
progress bar to terminate the creating at any time. The partially
output file still works normally.
STEP
5.2 Convert to Image Sequences: (Pro
only)
- Click on
File->Create to Image Sequence -> TGA | PNG to specify
the output file names of the images.
- In the following
Image Sequence Export Setting window, specify the information
for conversion as in STEP 5.1.
- Each output
file name of the image sequences will be appended with an auto-incremental
number.
Batch
Mode (Pro
only)
STEP
1 : Click on File->Batch to open the Batch Creating
Multiple Files window.
STEP
2 : To insert a task in the batch tasks list, click on Add
button.
STEP
3 : In the open dialog (Select a Flash File) , select a Flash
File in file folder.
STEP
4 : In the Select Output File Name dialog, give the output
file name and select the file type by choosing AVI, TGA, or PNG
from the File Type combo box.
STEP
5 : If you choose to output to AVI in the above dialog, then the
AVI Export Setting is open. Otherwise, Image Sequence
Export Setting is open.
STEP
6 : Repeat 3-5 to insert more tasks to the batch list.
STEP
7 : You may modify the output file name or the conversion setting
by first selecting the task item in the list and then clicking on
Output File or Setting buttons.
STEP
8 : You may remove the batch task(s) by first selecting the task
item in the list and then clicking on remove button.
STEP
9 : After all is set up and confirmed, click on OK button
to start the batch processing.
STEP
10: On completion, the Log of Batch Create window pops up
for inspection. You may copy/paste the log to a text file for backup.
Note:
For "Record from current SWF file", if you press
" Finish" button during the create audio phase,
the maximum length of created AVI file is depends on the actual
length of recorded audio, not "End Frame" in the
"Duration" you specify.
TIPS for
sample file conversion (flashants_logo.swf): The sample flash
movie contains 23 frames and action scripts to control the sequences.
To convert the full animation cycle you have to enlarge the "End
Frame" number in the AVI Export Setting dialog box and use
the normal sequence.
